The Mile End Hotel - Adelaide

Arriving on Christmas Day, the warm welcome from the staff set a positive tone. The vintage Victorian interior is well-preserved, with a sense of history, and the room I occupied was clean, with a cozy bed. Conveniently located near shops and eateries, I enjoyed delicious homemade organic products from the pub downstairs. Noise from fellow guests was quite noticeable at times, especially in the morning, somewhat disruptive. A lack of soundproofing.

The staff greeted me warmly upon arrival and assisted me effectively with check-in. The vintage interior added character and made for a pleasant, nostalgic atmosphere. I appreciated the cleanliness of my room, with the bed providing amazing comfort. I found the on-site pub offered enjoyable dining options such as a delicious steak sandwich and perfectly cooked chips. Many eateries and shops were within walking distance, convenient for exploring.

While my overall experience was good, the noise from the pub below was somewhat disruptive during the night.

Wonderful experience there. Flexible staff, newly decorated and compact room with clean and comfortable bed. A wide array of facilities such as: central heating, an ironing set, and television. Particularly good and perfect location close to the airport, funky style building...

Super and lovely location, Adelaide airport was 10 km away. The hotel itself was in a great area. Nice restaurant served authentic specialities.

I loved the vintage Victorian vibe throughout the hotel, which really added character to my stay. The steak sandwich from the on-site pub was fantastic, paired with crispy chips that hit the spot after a long day. My room was impressively clean and had a very comfortable bed. Just a heads up, be prepared for some potential noise from the pub downstairs if you're looking for a quieter evening.

Exceptionally nice location to Adelaide Central Market. The especially helpful and very very helpful staff all round. Plenty of options, GOOD food.

Every detail of this fully equipped property was great. The staff was willing to help with any questions or requests. Design of the rooms looked comfortable, rooms themselves were immaculately clean. The location was great and lovely - a few steps away from everywhere we wanted to go. The service was excellent, totally satisfied. Our stay was really comfortable here.

The queen room was nicely renovated, super clean, and had a small kitchen area. I enjoyed my stay and the food was great!

Noise from the downstairs pub may disrupt your peace, weekends can be lively with music or conversations!!! Improvements needed for those seeking a quieter retreat, perhaps soundproofing would help!!!

Enjoyed my stay with a comfy bed and a super easy check-in that got me settled in no time. The lounge area was a great spot to relax with some friends, and the outdoor seating made it perfect for a chill evening. One small thing was that the Wi-Fi could be a bit spotty, but overall it was a solid experience! 😊

Mile end was a great spot for my 2-night stay. The queen room was nicely renovated and clean. I loved the convenience of the cafe across the road for breakfast. Plus, the late-night check-in options made things easy. The food from the pub downstairs was delicious!

It was a great match for a momentary pause in Adelaide with excellent value for money. The vintage vibe around the hotel gave a nice character, making the stroll around enjoyable. Just make sure to have a plan for carrying your luggage up the stairs.
